Stop Bucking Study Course
A Downloadable Book

A sample from Day 5:

" canter - but there’s no reason why you can’t practice first going from a walk into a trot if your horse is overly agitated or you just need to find a rhythm. As we discussed on Day Two, you’ll begin this as all exercises “riding where you can, not where you can’t.” Here’s what you’ll do:

Pick up a trot. Trot forward perhaps thirty feet as you plan what you’re going to do. Use that time to slowly and methodically ask your horse to canter. Move into the canter for exactly four strides, then shut your horse back down to the trot. Bear in mind that your body will actually have to move faster as the horse slows into the trot due to the change of cadence. Be prepared to actually speed up your seat as he slows down. Doing so will make you a better rider and keep you from interfering with cues you’re giving."

Got just one problem - and don't need a whole book?

Perfect Horse Magazine did not have ads when it first appeared. For years the periodical read more like a how-to training book then a typical magazine. Each issue was an instant "must-have." Check out the article titles below: "From Sacking to Saddling," to "The First Trail Ride." From "Understanding Leads" to "Trailering Dilemmas Solved." Timeless advice! Note that the magazines listed here are used, hard to come by, and quantities are very, very limited. Click "See Index" for individual issue contents.

Note: Magazines are shipped book rate.
