"Do you have a book that shows a beginner the basic steps?"

Dear Keith...

Tuesday, January 31, 2006

Hi, I'm curious to know if you have a book that shows a beginner the basic steps? My husband is a professional rider and roper and we just got two horses. I on the other hand am being taught by my husband with a "Green Horse". (He's training both of us!) I have had some riding but on a horse that was 16yrs old and was a trail horse for a Dude Ranch. My husband states that he will give me the basics but I really want to be more knowledgeable with the basics and how they are to be used in daily riding.(not that he isn't) I want this to be enjoyable for us as we have a great place to ride where we live. Please let me know and thanks for your help. Donita
