Dear Keith...
Saturday, August 12, 2006
We just purchased a horse that had been rescued, we were told he was a little head shy but it wasn't a big deal. they didn't know much else about him. Well he has started to strike at me now when it try to fix his halter, go near him, and go in his stall to feed. We had a local Trainer out today and he would not even try to handle him. The trainer basically told me to sell him as a bucking horse for the Laytonville Beauty& the Beast Rodeo or put him down. What should I do? This is not our first rescue horse, we have had a few in the past that are now Beginner lesson horses, I just don't know how to handle him.
Thanks
