If a horse won't stand when asked, i.e. for saddling, etc. and you then make him work, can I apply the same concept to a horse who won't lift his legs/ hoofs? (He also jerks them from me.)
Should I make him do some longeing when he takes his legs away from me? He is a 1400 pound Clydesdale so his legs are heavy and he is very strong.
