Dear Keith...

Hi. I have a mare I like to ride. She is five years old and just had her first foal. She is a real good mother and really smart. The foal is just as good and smart. He was born on March 24. I want to start working the mare again and can't seperate them yet. He leads pretty good and away from her but I can't put him in a stall by himself. I worked her once for the first time in a while for six minutes. She wasn't hot but the colt was sweating. I know he is too young to work and I don't want to work him. So, I want to work her but not the colt. Do you have any suggestions?
Thanks,
