Dear Keith...
Wednesday, August 15, 2007
I have a 9 year old quarter horse gelding who I bought in March. I am doing barrel racing competitions with him and overall he is doing fine but whenever he gets through the gate to race he prances and hops until you let him go. Also when i'm riding with other people in a field and we start to canter he will try to run through my hands. When we get done cantering he will start to prance and hop (He is an ex-racehorse). How can I get him to stop doing this?
Thanks |
