"She would do anything to get you off her back"

Dear Keith...

Monday, August 13, 2007

My name is Katie, and I am 11 years old. I got a 23 year old QH mare almost 2 years ago. She had not been ridden in 2 years, and she looked like a walking x-ray. She was fed feed that given to real young horses. My grandmother bought her as my first horse. But when we brought her home we did not ride her till we got fattened up again. When we first rode her at her new home she would do anything to get you off her back, not hurt you or anything. She just did not want to be ridden. But I started riding her a lot now, and got her a new bit. She is now best horse I know. I am now an almost experienced rider. Do you think I can train a horse now ????
