How do you train blind horses? Can you answer this question? Not with a book, video or web site address been there can not find information. How do you communicate with them, since they can not see you or other horses?
Up close communicate, as in getting them (I have 3 TWH) to pick up feet, stepping over, backing up and parking out, I get and have trained to do, but round pen movement is another story. I just want everyone to be safe and not get hurt. Also, I understand you are in this business to make money with books and videos, but I just need this small bit of information. I was a subscriber to John Lyon's magazine before it went to having advertisement in it. But nothing was ever said about communication with blind horses. Does anyone know how to do this? Two are broke to ride, I do ride them and show them, but there are days where just good round pen work would be great to do with them. PLEASE, help.
Thank you for your time,
Tammie |
