Dear Keith...
Monday, October 15, 2007
I have acquired a horse that has been abused and very nervous around most people. To make this short and right to the point a mare kicked him into a barbed fence and tore up his leg the vet said it was just tore and not in the joint we sedated him and treated it but he will not let us near it to change the bandages or care for it. I am fearful he is going to get infected and end up being put down. I am willing to do what ever it takes to treat this horse and then see if I can get a trainer to work with him. He has a really big heart and is very lovable towards me and especially children but the problem is supposedly someone hurt him trying to load him in a trailer and I can't trailer him anywhere to get him help. Please if you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate them he has really taken a big place in my heart and I am sure with the right help he would be a super horse. I would even fly someone out here to help me if that is what it takes because I can't take him anywhere. It is tore up pretty bad not just a superficial wound. Please let me know of any help you could give me.
