Mr. Hosman, what is your advise regarding bitless bridles vs. a bridle with the snaffle bit? I am presently working with my two and a half year old filly (Arwen) using the John Lyons' Conditioned Response Training Program Manuals ( and loving it) and may be needing to choose a first bridle for her in a few months. This is my first horse to own & train, and i have had almost a year's worth of basic riding lessons.
I have to thank you for this "outlet of communication" as there is minimal support of training methods in this area.
