Observers, get a full day's training
for the price of a movie* |
Okay, so it's not the same as riding - but if you just can't make it out to ride in our next clinic, why not come observe? For about the price of a movie (*or two), you can spend the entire day watching others work through many of the same challenges you face every day with your horse. And of course you can ask enough questions to make the day worth it a hundred times over. An entire day's training for just a few dollars per hour - a real bargain.
Observers Keep Things Lively
Our observers are encouraged to get up close and personal. We invite you to set out your favorite lawn chair and throw your hands up anytime you have questions.
Observers do not need to make a reservation or call in advance. While riders slots are limited, observer space is not.
For info specific to a particular riding clinic, like prices, directions, dates and times, please follow the tab in the navigation bar above marked "Where & When."
Need a reminder a week or two before this event? Just sign up for our newsletter (upper-left sidebar, this page) and we'll automatically send you a nudge. (But hey, you should be riding in this clinic!)
Things To Bring With You:
Our clinics are typically held at working ranches and equestrian facilities. Grandstands don't usually exist and so we ask you to bring a lawn chair to the event. Naturally, a cooler and notepad should also be high on your list. Here are some other things you might bring:
- hat
- rain gear or coat when appropriate
(it can be colder inside than outside)
- sunglasses
- sunscreen
- lip balm
- bug repellant
- salt tablets if you're prone to dehydration
- notebook and pen
- camera and film
- audio cassette/recorder
