Re: horse snaffle bits

"When we ride, we want to keep our hands in close, always close to our belly buttons. That allows you to use maximum strength when you pull. If you pull off with hands far out to the right or left, then you've minimized your strength and you're off balance too. The more off balance you get, the greater chance you have of getting thrown off if that horse jumps or spooks. He'll see his shadow and put you on the ground. The whole idea is."

D-Ring Stainless Steel Snaffle Bit

Quality stainless steel bit, (copper no longer available), equalizes mouth pressure and eliminates the need for a curb chain or strap
To say that a horse has a hard mouth is absurd. The toughest mouthed horse will feel the lightest touch possible on his mouth. If the horse can feel your finger pressed lightly against his mouth, he will surely feel a forty-pound pull against a bit.

So, if we have a tough-mouthed horse, we must realize that we need to re-educate his brain, not his mouth. It allows the horse to easily adjust to the bit, promotes more direct head control, made of quality stainless steel, equalizes mouth pressure and needs no curb chain. Bit is 5".

Sorry, no longer available in copper mouthpiece.

We use PayPal to handle our online transactions. (Why?)

You can purchase online using your checking account or a charge card like VISA. Both methods are very simple:
To purchase an item, click "Add To Cart." After that you can look at other products or pages on my site. When you're ready to complete your purchase click on the "View Cart" button on any product page. You can also use it to change quantities. You will be given an opportunity during this process to pay via your checking account or with VISA.
You do not need a PayPal account to make a payment using a charge card. When it asks you to sign in, ignore that and look down the page. You'll find a link (it says "Continue") which allows you to continue without creating an account using your charge card.
You do need an account to pay by check (or "echeck"). To pay by check either sign in to your PayPal account (on the page mentioned above) or go to PayPal.com and follow the simple process to create an account. (You'll find a button at the top of their page marked "Sign Up Now.") Note that signing up to pay by check will take a few days as PayPal verifies your account. Also note that PayPal will not allow me to send any products until your check clears (usually in about 5-6 days).
